Wouter, thank you for providing us Planet Grep. I like to read it and I like to be part of it. But please, be some more indulgent. The very least you could have done was to send those guys another mail about your issue. Pardon me if you did, but you only mentioned one blog […]

One domain to rule them all

| Wednesday, 28 June, 2006

WTF is me dat nu nu weer? En […]

Geblaat zonder wol

Vincent van Adrighem deed me huiveren.

Intussen hier dezelfde generatie, zelfde microbe vrees ik: Say Wot Living Doll Voyage Sometimes DJ Fucked my wife Holiday Rap One Night In Bangkok Opus Born to be Alive 19 Star Trekkin’ Met […]

Open Source is about Community, so should Nessus

| Monday, 19 June, 2006

Kris gives us an update on his views of what Open Source means. I thought on this when today I was looking into the status of the Nessus project, which is known to have reverted to closed source last year, with its 3.0 release. I bumped into this article. Among the reasons for the move […]

Documents are taking much longer to upload than download.

From the Daily WTF, especially a good one, as more sysadmin than dev stuff this time. The phone rang and the boss told to drop everything and work on this issue: a client was on the verge of dropping their contract because no one from any department — sales, customer service, engineering, and so on […]

Ubuntu Linux, Cups and a HP DeskJet 722C

| Wednesday, 7 June, 2006

I reinstalled my system from scratch with Dapper last weekend. Why from scratch you might ask? My previous setup was the AMD64 version of 5.10, and just like Kristof, I found a 64 bit system too much a hassle to cope with. Anyway, this remembered me of the trouble I had to make my old […]

Ubuntu, Firefox and Dapper Drake

| Sunday, 4 June, 2006

As Ubuntu has a special patched version of Mozilla Firefox, the Firefox update mechanism is disabled, I’m wondering what time it’ll take them to make 1.5.0.4 available in dapper-updates or probably dapper-security. In the mean time, Dapper release made a headline in a Belgian newspaper (at least on the website). Thumbs up for Mark and […]
